Soffa ry osallistui Opiskelijakunta METKAn Wiikon Wappuun järjestämällä the Voice of Metropolia -tapahtuman sekä pitämällä rastia Wappuaaton päätapahtumassa.
The Voice of Metropolia -karaoketapahtuma oli torstaina 27.4. Lucky Ladyssä Malmilla. Tapahtuma oli menestys, porukkaa oli liikkeellä paljon ja hyvä meininki jatkui läpi illan. Illan aikana nähtiin paljon upeita esityksiä. The Voice of Metropolia -kilpailuun otettiin 15 osallistujaa, joista tuomaristo valitsi neljä finaaliin ja voittajaksi valikoitui huutoäänestyksellä vaihto-opiskelija René. Onnea voittajalle!
Soffa ry participated in METKAs Week of MayDay by organizing the Voice of Metropolia event and by having a checkpoint at METKAs MayDay.
The Voice of Metropolia karaoke event took place in Lucky Lady, Malmi on Thursday 27th of April. The event was a success, there was lots of people and the party was good. There were some amazing performances during the evening. We took 15 people to the Voice of Metropolia contest and after the first round we selected 4 participants to the final. After the second round, the audience got to vote their favorite finalist in acclamation. Exchange student René won the Voice of Metropolia title. Congratulations!

Oskulla ja Rikulla oli tanssimuuvit hallussa. Osku and Riku showed some good dance moves.
Upeaääninen soffarilainen Rihuna tuli kilpailussa toiseksi. Great singer Rihuna from Sofianlehdonkatu campus placed 2nd in the contest.
Antti luotti Laulumattiin kilpailukappaleita valitessaan. Antti trusted Laulumatti when picking songs to sing.
Voittajan oli helppo hymyillä ja tunnelma oli katossa. The winner was happy and the mood was great.
Soffalla ja Demonilla oli yhteinen rasti METKAn Wappuaatossa. Teemana oli Speden Spelit ja rastikierrokselle osallistujien taitoja koeteltiin ryhmänä kuminauhan läpi menemisessä, tandem-hyppynaruhyppelyssä sekä tamponin dippauksessa kaljapulloon. Wapun juhlijoilla näytti olevan hauskaa eikä vaihteleva sääkään haitannut menoa.
Soffa and Demoni had a joint checkpoint in METKAs MayDay. The theme was Speden Spelit. Participants skills were tested in three different tasks: getting through an elastic band as a group, tandem jumping and dipping tampon in a beer bottle. Participants seemed to have fun despite the unstable weather.

Kuminauhan läpi meneminen oli yllättävän vaikeaa. Getting through the elastic band was surprisingly difficult.
Parihyppelyssä nähtiin monenlaisia tekniikoita. Lots of different techniques were seen at the tandem jumping checkpoint.
